Check the local fitness centers for senior group times. Of course we live on the Cape so there are plenty of beaches, but please be careful; there may be no easy (length of walking distance etc.) access, and DO NOT let your loved ones burn with the hot summer sun.

Happy New Year! There is an upcoming event at Wellfleet Preservation Hall that we believe may be of interest to many seniors, and are hoping you might be able to share this information with your networks? Thanks for you consideration, and please let me know if you have any questions or suggestions, including other senior programs/facilities we might reach out to.

Thank you,
Marci Diamond, The Actors Company

Award-winning actor J.T. Turner presents the Cape Cod premiere of “Robert Frost Light and Dark” at Wellfleet Preservation Hall, February 21, 2015 at 7pm. This highly-praised original one-man show brings America’s beloved poet to life as he relates the tragedy as well as the humor behind Frost’s work, along with his most popular poems, including Mending Wall, Birches, Nothing Gold Can Stay, Late Walk, Desert Places, Road Not Taken, and Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening. For fans of Frost's work, this is a remarkable and intimate journey through the life of the Pulitzer Prize winning poet. The show filled the historic Robert Frost Farm to capacity as its season closing event, and is expected to sell out in Wellfleet; advance $12 tickets are available atwww.wellfleetpreservationhall.org.

J.T. Turner is an award-winning professional actor, director and writer, with credits on stage, screen and audio. A member of SAG-AFTRA and Actors Equity, J.T. is also a historical re-enactor, touring in original shows as Benjamin Franklin, Charles Dickens, Aesop, William Shakespeare and C.S. Lewis. He is the founder and director of moonlight productions inc, a theater company dedicated to using theater as an outreach tool for children and teens, and Artistic Director of The Actors Company, a performing group that works with non-profits. J.T. is also a professional lecturer and public speaker, and previously appeared at Wellfleet Preservation Hall as the Ringmaster in Payomet Performing Art Center’s CircuScape 2014.
